overview
As if Croatia isn’t interesting enough already for your next trip, why not do it on two wheels? Lighthouse proudly presents you the Backroads Croatia – one of the most popular biking routes of southern Dalmatia.
First, our journey will start in the city of Split, where after a brief down-time period you will have a chance of exploring the nearby islands of Brac and Hvar. Follow the back roads of small, picturesque villages on our way to some local wineries and hidden beauties of the region.
Also, among our stops, there will be three protected UNESCO world heritage sites – in Split, on Hvar island and in Dubrovnik. Picking our favorite part of this trip should be left to you as we love every single bit of it and it is hard for us to decide.
Finally, each day we will be cycling somewhere between 20 and 40 miles, depending on the group and our preferences. Logistical van support is always here in case you’re missing a snack or you just want to hop in the van and get some rest for the next part of the route. Last call for you, pack your biking shorts and get yourself ready for the Backroads Croatia tour. Welcome.
