Sometimes, one country just isn’t enough. For this reason, we have created the Istrian Peninsula tour to lead you through Croatia and Slovenia. Welcome to the best parts of the two countries. Starting from Zagreb, we will continue down south for a day of trekking in the Plitvice Lakes national park. As the next day comes, our main activity is truffle hunting. Join us on this quest and search for the black treasure.
The next day brings us next country – welcome to Slovenia. The greenest country of them all. We will start with the exploration of the coastline and stroll around Piran bay, still a part of the Istrian peninsula. Moving back up north, we will pass through the valley of winemakers. Vipava valley is one of the most beautiful cycling areas of Slovenia. Last but not least, we will finish with our journey in Ljubljana.
This trip makes a wonderful choice for the nomadic travelers, in search of more. Going through the culture and history of the two countries, while being active, is a great choice for families. But also for the travel couples who like adding exotic stamps to their passports.
