Kotor Bay

Kotor bay from above

If you’ve heard of Montenegro, then you’ve probably already heard about its hidden gem in the Adriatic Sea as well. The Kotor bay, where the water stays still. Sheltered from the strong winds and currents coming from the open sea, the bay of Kotor provides us unique, glass-mirror water conditions where beginners can learn and advanced paddlers can perfect their skills. Subsequently, it also makes a wonderful playground for a family trip.

Every day we will be paddling from one medieval town to another. Combining flatwater paddling, medieval towns and local cuisine sounds like a dream come true. The undisputed champion of the bay is the old city of Kotor. In the last couple of years, Kotor has become one of the main tourist destinations, thanks to its unique position in a submerged river canyon. Surrounded by the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovčen, Kotor is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

As we explore the bay in our kayaks, you will see many different perspectives of it. From picturesque coastal towns to modern, high-end luxury marinas. We will get an insider access to the bay on this tour and be able to go where many people can’t. Another beautiful thing about this bay is that everything is within the palm’s reach. In this way, we can adjust our schedule on the go and shift our days. Welcome to your most peaceful sea kayaking adventure ever.
